Like drinking from a firehose

Just received my new Logos Bible software yesterday in the mail. Thanks to my student status with Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando (I’m working toward a D.Min) I was able to get a sizable discount. I received the “Original Languages” package which has more resources in Hebrew, Greek, and even Aramaic than I’ll ever use. Word studies along with verb parsing has never been easier!

Any other Logos users out there? I also looked into BibleWorks but couldn’t pass up the good price from Logos. Now, back to Habakkuk.

I’ve used Logos; it’s a nice program. I preferred Bibleworks when I was using Windows, but I knew a lot of guys that DID prefer Logos. It has matured a lot in the last 4 or 5 years.

Knowing that you’re a Logos user, I may get you to help me…. will you have a laptop (with Logos) at G.A.? Would you be willing to help me with a little transfer? (Details to come via e-mail.)

I used to use BibleWorks. It was on the computer that got stolen. I still have the discs, but it’s not compatible with Vista, and the price is such that I have not replaced it yet. I’ve never looked at Logos, but I’d be interested to try it.

Ed- I’ll be at GA with the laptop. Look forward to seeing you there.

    Paul,
I’ve been using Logos for over a decade. I love it and could not do without it. However, I have heard lots of people who swear by Bibleworks. I’ve never tried it because I have been so satisfied with Logos.

Tim! Great to hear from you! What really pushed me over the edge for Logos was simple economics. I need to e-mail you and get some tips on how you like to utilize it.
